Kuala Lumpur International Book Festival 2007, nothing much changed as previous years and I managed to have a glance at these 2 books:

Sammy Chua’s Day Trade Your Way To Financial Freedom, and also

Way of Turtle: The Secret Methods that Turned Ordinary People into Legendary Traders by Curthis M. Faith, disiciple of Turtle Trading System.

I bought neither. Hehe. Just waiting for a review from other readers especially in Amazon.com.

Just few notes on my journey to KLIBF yesterday,

1. There are local publishers / local distributors especially for those selling Islamic books still don’t manage their books properly, I mean by arranging all the books in proper classification. Quran. Hadith. Usuluddin. Fiqh. Akhlaq. Motivation. Syariah, etc. I don’t know why, but it should help more on visitor’s attention and save our time more. You could compare the proper classification by foreign publishers / distributors by putting all their books by categories. Medicine. Health. Sport. Finance. Business. Management. Arts. Engineering, etc.

2. The most improved exhibitor from my view is PTS Publications & Distributors Sdn Bhd. I know their existence in KLIBF many years ago and during that time, their booth was so small, I could search for any title alone. Kudos to Ainon Mohd and Dr Abdullah Hassan. Their hard effort to become the biggest Malay book publisher is on their way. Few of my colleagues are authors under PTS such as Amin Idris, Mirakimura, Din (May Allah swt blessed your health), Imad, Radziq and others. Now, everybody wants to become a writer under PTS Publications.
